ServicesValuation of companies

Another main activity of our firm is the preparation of company valuations. Determining the value of a company is a profession in itself in which our firm has specialised over the years. Because of the knowledge our firm has accumulated, our valuation model is very comprehensive.

This knowledge and expertise was recently compiled in the book ‘Business Valuation, Using financial analysis to measure a company’s value’, published by Intersentia (ISBN 978-1-78068-016-3).

The most common situations for preparing a valuation are:

  • Sale of shares
  • Divorce proceedings
  • Disengagement of a partner
  • Gifts
  • Inheritances

In our valuation model, we use about 25 methods of valuation which can be divided into 2 main groups:

1. Net substantial value

This method takes account of equity plus unrealised capital gains and/or losses.

It is mainly applied to patrimony companies or when the return of the company does not meet the predefined return requirement.

2. Pure and mixed yield methods

These valuation techniques are based on some 20 methods based on various academic papers.

Given our specialisation in the field of valuations, we guarantee efficient handling of your file to offer you a finished valuation within the shortest possible time.
